Description

This is a brand new, in-the-box W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. SparXX™ Medium Stockman pocket knife. The Case White Synthetic SparXX™ series is a line of pocket knives that embraces durability and outstanding looks. Stockman’s pack three blades in a convenient but very practical pocket knife. This knife is 3 ⅝” closed in length. Its pattern number is 63032 SS. It has a white jigged (for better handling and grip) synthetic SparXX™ handle – impact resistant, pure white handle provides the perfect backdrop to the vibrant red shield. The blades are mirror polished Tru-Sharp™ surgical stainless steel with a Rockwell Hardness of 55-57 HRC, which is a special high-carbon steel that helps the blades hold an edge longer than conventional steel. There are 3 blades: a primary clip point, a sheepsfoot, and a pen blade; the clip point blade is commonly used as a multi-purpose blade and preferred for detail work. The sheepsfoot blade features a straight edge and a curved back, allowing for greater tip strength and control of the cutting edge with your fingers. It was originally designed for trimming sheep’s hooves, this sheepsfoot blade is ideal for carving and carpentry work. The pen blade, great for light work, was originally designed to cut and sharpen turkey quills for use as ink pens. The knife is a slip joint, has thumbnail pulls, has a red sparkle enamel-filled Case oval inlay shield, has brass pins & liners, has a Case production tang stamp, and has nickel silver bolsters. It is made in the USA by Case. This knife is not just top quality, it is made in America by a company who has been around for over a hundred years, making top quality cutlery. Plus, this knife is a very collectible stockman frame – don’t pass this up!
